# Edit a voice agent

> Review an agent and update its first message in Klatt.

## Open an agent

1. Sign in to [Klatt](https://app.klatt.ai).
2. Open **Agents** and select an agent.
3. Review its current and published version details.

## Update the first message

The first message is what the agent says when a call begins. Edit the **First message** field and select **Save changes**. The change is saved to the agent's current version. A published version remains unchanged until you publish an update through an available publishing workflow.

Before using the agent with callers, review [Disclosure requirements](/voice-agent/disclosure-requirements) and decide what information callers need at the start of an interaction.

## Availability

The current editor only lets you update the First message. Other agent settings are not available here.
